Three of some of the biggest supports in my AA group have graduated from your program and are sober but they are at every AA meeting how come you guys dont include AA in youre program? Some people I know didn't go to Odyssey House Utah because it wasnt 12 steps and they said they wuldnt be allowed to do 12 steps is this true?
That is not true. If a client wishes to pursue 12 step treatment as part of their recovery, we will allow them to. In fact, we hold CA meetings each Friday at our Outpatient location.
I hadn't heard of anyone saying you couldn't do the 12 step treatment. Having AA meetings would be smart to help your current clients and the old clients keep up on controlling their addiction.

I'm a media producer from California and I've recently finished putting together a commercial for a local tech company. The song we're using in our commercial was written by a patient who is still currently undergoing treatment at Odyssey House Utah/SLC, is there anyway I can contact him to get his signature on a contract agreement? Greg, the best bet would be to send the individual a piece of mail to the address on our website. As we cannot confirm or deny a resident being with us, we ensure they get their mail.

Greg, in this circumstance, the client would be allowed. There are various factors that play into with whom a client may or may not communicate during their stay with us.
